Purposive communication is a three-unit course that develops students’ communicative competence and enhances their cultural-intercultural awareness through multimodal tasks that provide them opportunities for communicating effectively and appropriately to a multicultural audience in a local or global context.

Lesson 1: Principles of CommunicationAt the end of the module, you are expected to: 1. explain the seven principles of communication; 2. point out how to achieve the principles of communication both in oral and written communication; and 3. apply the principles of communication in oral or written communication activity. |
